We are thrilled to share that our Team Lead is playing a pivotal role as a consultant in a landmark 5-day workshop aimed at developing and validating Liberia’s National Family Planning Guideline. This collaborative effort brings together key stakeholders from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Liberian Ministry of Health, working together to ensure that the country has a comprehensive, practical, and sustainable family planning strategy in place.
The primary goal of this workshop is to create a detailed and accessible guideline that will provide clear direction for the delivery of voluntary family planning services at all levels of healthcare throughout Liberia. These guidelines are designed to empower individuals and communities by promoting informed, voluntary, and equitable access to family planning options. Our Team Lead, Mrs. Minnie Sirtor Bowier, stressed the importance of making the national guideline inclusive, targeting everyone, including people with disabilities.

Once completed, this national framework will serve as a critical tool for enhancing reproductive health outcomes and strengthening family planning services nationwide. By aligning efforts with the expertise of the UNFPA and the Ministry of Health, TuMi’s Care Initiative (TCI) is confident that the guidelines will have a lasting impact on Liberia’s public health system.
We are proud of the role our Team Lead is playing in this significant initiative, contributing valuable expertise and leadership throughout this process. Through these hands-on initiatives, we are helping to build a healthier and more sustainable future for Liberia.
Stay tuned for more updates on this impactful project!
